- Maintains a healthy kidney.

Diet
is extremely important when the kidneys are damaged. And if
you have a chronic kidney problem there may be special nutrient
and dietary requirements that will need to be followed to ensure
that the situation doesn’t get any worse. One specific
requirement is that a low-protein diet be maintained by those
with abnormal kidney function to prevent worsening of their
kidney disease. The diet is often low in sodium and potassium as
well, so additional supplementation with certain nutrients may
be required. For some people on a special diet relating to this
issue, fluid restriction may also be necessary. And if you have
diabetes along with kidney disease, a low-carbohydrate diet may
need to be implemented.
Let’s face it, most people just don’t realize how important
kidney function is in maintaining their health. They are vital
organs that perform many functions; the most important being to
help keep your blood clean, chemically balanced and ‘you’
properly hydrated. The kidneys are bean-shaped organs, each
about the size of your fist. They are located near the middle of
your back, just below the rib cage. About every 30 minutes or so
your kidneys filter the total volume of blood in your body,
removing about 2 quarts of waste products and excess water each
day. So, the last thing you need is to develop a kidney disease
or other kidney related pathologies that will tax the ability of
the kidneys to do their job to the maximum.
If you develop a kidney problem as stated, proper nutrition is
extremely important during this stressful period. This is why
taking stress supporting nutrients such as those found in Nephro
C are of the utmost importance. Supporting the body by taking
the proper nutrients is essential for healing to occur. However,
you have to be careful not to over tax the system with too much
nutrient base at one time, since the body is already producing
its own metabolic by-products. The waste and extra water that
the kidneys produce become urine, which flows to your bladder
for storage and for disposal. The increased production of dilute
urine that occurs during kidney failure may cause deficiencies
in important nutrients like the B vitamins and other
electrolytes. So, it follows that taking supplemental nutrients
such as the B vitamins and other micro nutrients to prevent
deficiencies of any kind is a prudent way to avoid potential
problems.
The wastes in your blood are the end result of the normal
breakdown of food during the various digestive processes, which
also include other systemic metabolic by-products that your body
makes. In a kidney that is not working properly nutrients are
not reabsorbed as they should be. Typically in a healthy kidney
some of the essential vitamins, amino acids, glucose, hormones
and other vital substances are returned to the bloodstream, with
any excesses discarded in urine. But in an unhealthy kidney this
does not occur as it should, therefore these nutrients need to
be replaced. The kidneys work on maintaining a healthy balance
of the right amounts of nutrients in the blood stream such as
sodium, phosphorus, potassium and vitamins returning back to the
blood stream what ever it needs.
Nutri-Force has developed Nephro C to ensure the right amount of
water soluble nutrients are made available to the body on a
regular basis, to assist in the healing process. Once in the
body these nutrients work as co-factors in the utilization of
other synergistic macro and micro nutrients that the body needs
to function at optimum, in the amounts that will not over burden
the already over taxed kidneys. Nephro C is just one more way
you can count on Nutri-Force to care for you, and ensure your
longevity even when you are down.
Understanding how your kidneys work can help you to keep them
healthy, so you can take care of them! †
